i'm aryan nair.

student / researcher at Stanford building something socially-responsible.

currently,

I'm passionate about building products that institutionally improve humanity. In particular, I'm excited about new opportunities in climate tech. Previously, I built a sustainable finance platform connecting borrowers and lenders for SLLs, now working on an AI healthcare supply chain decarbonization platform (reach out if any of these interest you!).

at stanford,

I'm studying a combination of CS and earth systems -- my coursework spans everything climate to technical. I also am a student researcher under the [Rapid Decarbonization Initiative] (www.gsb.stanford.edu/faculty-research/labs-initiatives/rdi) at the Graduate School of Business.

in the past,

I've done a bunch in international and climate policy:

  • Via NSLI-Y, I was 1 of 20 nationally awarded a full-merit scholarship to study Arabic abroad in Amman, Jordan where I took Arabic classes and discussed Middle East peace resolution with government.

  • Through NAJAS, I was a USA Diplomat & Cultural Ambassador to Japan, where I worked with Japanese representatives to reach mutual agreements in climate, infrastructure, and energy spaces.

I also spend a fair bit of my time organizing climate protests

for fun,

I experiment a ton with fashion, find joy in nature, and always go snowboarding and skateboarding. I also love picking up new slang.
